We improve the lives of underserved individuals, families, and communities of Nicaragua through education
The Asla Foundation was created to help children—who would otherwise be unable to attend school past the 6th grade—continue onto high school and college. The organization was begun in 2001 by two Peace Corps volunteers as a project to help 20 children attend high school, and has grown to support an average of 115 youth each year.
